Jun Kim, DNP is a Board-Certified clinician who has been practicing as a nurse practitioner for over two decades. She is dual board-certified in psychiatry and family practice. After working many years in family practice, she developed a deep interest in psychiatry and heard a calling to care for those with mental health conditions. In the psychiatric setting, she is dedicated to helping patients of all ages with mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. Dr. Kim obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree at UCLA; doctorate degree at California State University Consortium and completed her thesis in Chronic Care Management. Throughout her educational career, she was acknowledged by the International Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau, for her scholarly excellence. Dr. Kim is a recipient of the Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program, awarded to those with the highest potential for success. Dr. Kim proudly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force and
completed tours both within the states and overseas. She received numerous medals for her service and dedication. In her time off, she enjoys reading, hiking, photography, art, playing her piano, and travelling with her family.
